The most beautiful bay on the island of Pag
Camp Straško beach is among the most beautiful beaches on the island of Pag and it spreads over 2000m of coastal area. The shore is made out of pebbles while in the sea you can find the gritty sand. Those characteristic make it one of the most attractive beaches in Croatia and it has been a proud bearer of the Blue flag for years.
All along the beach there is a promenade with a lot of facilities such as beach bars and patisseries with the accompanying content like an aquapark and various entertainment programmes. Also, you can enjoy all kinds of medical and relaxing massages in the vicinity of the beach camp.
The Beach of the Straško Camp with its natural beauty and its accompanying facilities meets all the criteria and carries with pride for many years now, a blue flag, certifying its excellence.
This award is given by the association "Lijepa naša" to the most organized beaches in Croatia. High criteria and standards that the organization prescribes are all meat and the award is a proof that the beach of the Straško camp is indeed worthy to be called as one of the most beautiful beaches of the northern Adriatic. The Blue Flag symbol awarded to beaches is awarded in accordance with an international program for the protection of the marine and coastal environment.
Nowadays it is almost unthinkable to use the term "best beach" for some area without this internationally recognized certification. The best beaches of the island of Pag, Novalja and generally of the whole Adriatic region hold this label.
